Hello Writers! With cold weather rapidly approaching, we are thrilled to announce our next contest--The Winter Writing Contest. Details are below.

The Winter Writing Contest

Prizes
1st – 500$
2nd – 300$
3rd – 200$
4th – 100$
5th – 50$

Themes:
1. She awoke to snow
2. Sticks and stones
3. The sound of silence
4. Shivers
5. The New Year

Rules: Contestants must submit
-Only 1 story, 1000 words or less
-Their actual name
-Their age
-Their user IDs
-Their Country of origin
-Their e-mail addresses
-The theme they selected


TO ENTER: You must download one of the 4 attached submission documents in order to enter this contest. We accept four types of documents and they are as follows:

Once completed, you must send the submission document to vb@123.ca.


Deadline: January 7, 2012

We will be posting all the stories and the winners' stories will appear first.

Please note that the winners for the 2012 TeenageWriters.com Summer Writing contest have been selected. Some contestants have not yet submitted their usernames along with their submissions. Please send your username to vb@123.ca by Friday October 12 to be eligible for the prizes. The winners will be posted on Monday October 15.

All contestants have been notified via e-mail to provide their username by Friday October 12th.

The Teenage Writers Summer Writing Contest deadline has been extended to Monday, September 10! Winners will be announced on October 1. If you are unfamiliar with the contest and the rules, you can read the original announcement. As a reminder, there is $1,000 in total prize money up for grabs for the top three contestants!

To submit your entry, please save it as a Word document and attach it in an email to vb@123.ca. All contestants must also submit their name, country of residence, and email address.
