Welcome to teenagewriters.com, a site where young writers can submit, read, and discuss their works and literature in general. Before you go off to meet all the other members, please read the following rules and guidelines. We created these to help people slip into the TW community without making terrible blunders.
There are three things you're expected to read before posting:
The Rules. We take a dim view of rule-breakers, so please don't be one of them.
How To Not Be Seen As Fresh Meat. It'll help you understand TW a lot better.
Step By Step Critiquing will help you comment on people's work.
Once you’ve read all that, you should be well-equipped to leap into TW life. Go ahead and
introduce yourself by creating a new thread and telling us a bit about yourself. If you don't know what to say, just tell us what books you like, how long you've been writing, and other things like that.
If you're not very good at spelling, and know it, you might want to install a spell checker in your browser. You can find one for Internet Explorer
here and Firefox
here. It'll make you look smart.
If you want to know how to use the forum itself, check out the
How To Do Stuff FAQ.
If you have any questions, your first stop should be the
FAQ.
We have staff members who are happy to help you. The current list of staff can be found
here. Super Moderators (purple names) should be contacted about the forum in general, while Instructors (orange names) can be contacted about their particular fields of writing. The admins shouldn't be contacted at all, as they only check their accounts to perform administrative tasks.
The staff follow a set of rules laid out here:
Moderator Guidelines - Know your rights!
We hope you enjoy your stay at TW!
Heyy
I agree, I don't think it's vital to plan (so long as you know the basics, of course). I like planning, though if you compare my plan to the final(ish)
